Driving 100+ Radiologist Practices with RamSoft Cloud PACS

I'm Drew Gaudet, the co-founder of Premier Radiology. We're a teleradiology business based in South Florida, and we service outpatient imaging, urgent care, and mobile diagnostic customers.

Gil and I started Premier Radiology as aside hustle. We worked for an outpatient imaging center in South Florida, which was a customer of RamSoft. We found this niche of being able to service outpatient and urgent care clinics.

Back then, it was all film, and when everything started going digital, it was just our side hustle. So, imagine us trying to figure out how we could afford tens of thousands of dollars for PACS. We met with a rep at the time, Greg Smith, who helped us and said, 'You know what, guys? I think I have a solution for you.'

They literally created a per-click offering for us, called PACS Tele LITE, back in the early 2000s. Without that per-click model, we would have never been able to expand and grow our business.

Now, we've gone from doing 50 to 100patients a day to over 7,000 patients a day. Without RamSoft, we wouldn't have a business. If it weren't for RamSoft's thoughtfulness in giving us that opportunity to fund and scale our business, we would have never been able to grow.

The ability for RamSoft to be adaptable to our customers and our workflow has been awesome. Working with our IT teams and RamSoft's support staff has allowed us to expand into different verticals.

With RamSoft, you really do realize there's a patient at the end of the chain. So, working in conjunction with RamSoft for troubleshooting or any issues that arise, they understand there's a sense of urgency because patient care is at jeopardy.

The nimbleness of RamSoft and their IT support team has been incredible. In conjunction with our IT, we've been able to establish connectivity within hours, as opposed to days or weeks in most PACS companies. Our ability to deploy and establish connectivity allows us to deliver the patient care we need to give to our customers and their patients.

We've been a RamSoft customer for the last15 years, and in the last few years, I can't even remember one outage we've had. I'd be happy to be a reference for RamSoft anytime.
