Mark Stevens Shares His Experience Working with RamSoft

I'm Mark Stevens, President and Chief Operating Officer at Premier Radiology Services out of Miami.

I actually go back to 2005 with VJ and the RamSoft team. At that time, I was Chief Operating Officer of US Teleradiology and US Tele Mammography. They did an amazing job with cutting-edge technology at the time, and we used them for our breast imaging services and diagnostic mammography. US Teleradiology also used them for image distribution and any PACS needs.

I've always kept RamSoft front of mind, and now, here I am with Premier Radiology, and they were already an existing customer, going back to 2009. RamSoft is integral to our operation—easy and quick to deploy, and easy to integrate.

From the imaging gateways, we could spin up a client quickly. In fact, Premier spin up a client within four hours, which was pretty amazing. It's the speed of deployment and ease of use. The RamSoft operating team is phenomenal to work with. We're very happy with the relationship and the reliability of the platform.

There was a hurricane on the west coast of Florida, and we were urgently contacted by a non-governmental organization doing relief work in that area. They were setting up a mobile emergency department with x-ray capabilities for triaging patients. We were able to deploy quickly with RamSoft, and we were able to read the scans from the techs on the ground and turn the images around.

RamSoft also had a large multi-specialty group customer supporting another NGO during the Afghan refugee crisis after the Afghan withdrawal. We deployed to Holman Air Force Base to screen Afghan refugees for TB and other conditions. We were up and running within four hours, and they were shocked at how quickly we were able to go from nothing to providing immediate patient care. This helped get the refugees on the right path to societal integration.

It was pretty amazing. We have a level of trust with RamSoft that is integral to our business and operations. I would encourage anyone to meet with any member of the RamSoft team. There's a seasoned leadership and development team at RamSoft. In our experience, they keep the promises they make.

When it comes to technology, and especially life-saving technology, sometimes we need to wait, but the speed to market and the ability to develop and evolve the platform has been impressive over the last 19 years.
