Microsoft HealthVault Integration

RamSoft has partnered with Microsoft HealthVault to aid radiologists in meeting their Meaningful Use goals. It is included at no extra cost for end users who select the Meaningful Use Module for PowerServer RIS/PACS or PowerServer Tele Plus.

Microsoft HealthVault is a free, privacy and security enhanced online service that puts patients in control of their health information. HealthVault lets patients store health information from many sources in a single location, so it’s always organized and available online. With HealthVault, patients can access a range of health and fitness web tools, upload data from health and fitness devices and share health information with their physicians and others they trust.

Meet Meaningful Use Requirements

Providing patients with an electronic copy of their health information is one of the 15 Core Set Objectives all Eligible Professionals must attest to qualify for the Meaningful Use incentive program. To meet this objective, 50% of all patients who request an electronic copy of their clinical summary must be provided it within 3 days. By integrating with Microsoft HealthVault, imaging centers can now send the clinical summary and reports automatically with patient consent.

A powerful tool for putting patients in control of their health information. The ability to provide patients with relevant health information when and where needed will improve patient care across the board.  Information shared with referring physicians is also sent to patients so they can more effectively communicate with each other regarding diagnosis, prognosis and care.
